In ARC Raiders, the "Movie Night" quest offers a lighter moment compared to the usual high-pressure raids and extractions. Instead of focusing purely on combat, the mission has you helping Apollo, the Grenades and Gadgets trader in Speranza, set up a small movie night for the people living in the outpost. The idea is simple but fun: find some old tech and movie tapes so the raiders can relax for a bit after long missions. The quest was introduced with the Headwinds update and gives players an early objective that's more about exploration and survival than heavy fighting
ARC Raiders Items.
You can start the quest by speaking with Apollo in the trading area of Speranza. He'll ask you to bring back two things: a Portable TV and a Stack of Movie Tapes located in the Cultural Archives area on Stella Montis. Even though the mission sounds simple, you'll want to prepare before heading out. Bringing gear with safe pockets is especially important because if you die during the raid and lose the items, you'll have to find them again. It's also worth knowing that you don't have to complete the whole objective in a single run. Many players prefer grabbing one item at a time to reduce the risk.
Stella Montis is the main area you'll visit for this quest. The map is fairly complex and filled with enemies like Ticks, Fireballs, and Shredders, so moving carefully helps a lot. The Cultural Archives are located in the southeast section of the upper level, and there are several ways to reach them depending on where you enter the map. Some players zipline from the Business Center, others move through the Seed Vault below, or approach from the Atrium above. Once you're inside the Archives, head toward the far southwest side of the room near a stairway door that connects to other sections of the building. The movie tapes are hidden near a pile of furniture covered with a sheet, and there's usually a blue X graffiti nearby that helps mark the spot.
After picking up the Stack of Movie Tapes, it's a good idea to place them directly into a safe pocket if you have one. This protects them even if something goes wrong during the raid. While you're still in the area, you can also check nearby rooms to see if a Portable TV has spawned, but it doesn't always appear there. The item can show up in several residential-style loot locations across different maps. One of the better places to look is the Village near Blue Gate, where there are many apartments and houses that tend to spawn household electronics.
If you don't find the TV right away, it's usually safer to extract and try again rather than searching the entire map while carrying the tapes. Extraction points like the Seed Vault Airshaft or certain Raider Hatches can help you leave quickly. In later runs, residential areas in places like Dam Battlegrounds or Buried City can also be good spots to check for the TV.
Combat in the Cultural Archives tends to work best if you stay mobile and avoid attracting too much attention. A suppressed weapon or SMG can help you quietly deal with nearby enemies. Smoke grenades are also useful if things get chaotic, since they allow you to grab the objective or escape without getting overwhelmed. Players going solo should move slowly and listen for enemy sounds, while squads can cover each other while one person loots the objective.
Once you've collected both the Portable TV and the Stack of Movie Tapes, return to Speranza and give them to Apollo to finish the quest. Completing it rewards you with a few useful items, including Showstoppers, Smoke Grenades, and a Fireworks Box. These rewards can help during future raids and also improve your standing with the trader
ARC Raiders Battle pass.
Although it's a fairly simple quest, "Movie Night" adds a bit of personality to the world of ARC Raiders. It shows that even in a dangerous sci-fi setting filled with hostile machines, the people of Speranza are still trying to hold onto small moments of normal life. For newer players, it's also a good opportunity to explore Stella Montis and learn the map while working toward a straightforward objective.
