Каждый юноша оказывается перед необходимостью пройти медкомиссию. Важнейшую роль играет медицинское обследование, которая назначает категорию. Система категорий годности раскрывает, кто может служить. «А»-категория означает готовность к службе без ограничений. Группа «Б» показывает наличие лёгких заболеваний, но служба возможна. Группа «В» означает ограниченную годность. Категория «Г» временное освобождение, а группа Д исключает возможность службы.
Около 200 диагнозов в официальном документе становятся причиной освобождения. Это тяжёлые болезни сердца, психические расстройства, заболевания глаз и ушей, болезни лёгких, заболевания опорно-двигательного аппарата и разные хронические заболевания.
Болезни сердца и психологические диагнозы — повод не служить. Инфаркты, аритмия, врождённые пороки препятствуют армейской нагрузке. Диагнозы психиатрического характера исключают прохождение службы.
Заболевания глаз и нарушения слуха — повод не брать в армию. Тяжёлые глазные болезни делают службу невозможной. Серьёзные слуховые нарушения также ведут к освобождению.
Проблемы с дыхательной системой тоже серьёзная причина. Сильные болезни дыхания делают невозможной армию.
Проблемы с позвоночником нередко становятся причиной освобождения. Сколиоз, остеохондроз, межпозвоночные грыжи делают службу невозможной.
Медкомиссия в военкомате: обследуют призывника. Терапевт, хирург, психиатр, офтальмолог, ЛОР и другие фиксируют диагнозы. Если есть сомнения, назначаются УЗИ, МРТ и анализы, которые подтверждают или опровергают болезнь. Что нужно для медкомиссии: результаты обследований для освобождения от армии. Полный пакет медицинских справок повышают шансы на освобождение. Обжалование решения медкомиссии — получить освобождение. Когда здоровье зафиксировано не полностью, есть право на апелляцию. Это позволяет добиться освобождения.
